Starting Therapy
Starting therapy is a big step and it’s completely normal to feel unsure or even a little nervous at first. Opening up to someone new takes courage. But many people find that speaking with someone outside their everyday life, a person who’s really there to listen,can bring a real sense of relief. In a space that’s confidential and without judgment, it becomes easier to be honest, not just with your therapist, but with yourself. Over time, therapy can help you make sense of your experiences, understand yourself more deeply, and move towards change.
